Landside at BSL/MLH/EAP the terminals are split into a French and a Swiss side, connected via a short in-terminal walkway which used to house the passport control. One pub basically sits on the border and has a counter + seats on both sides. On one side you pay in Euro (with less taxes) and on the other side of the pub you have to pay in Swiss Franken (more taxes ;-)).
From either side you can look through the pub counter to the 'foreign' country.
