My guess is that the OP was concerned with the expansion and contraction of the rackets in what he thought was an un-pressurized cargo compartment. And as pointed out as well the pressure in the main cabin is still less than at sea-level so the same problem would have existed.
And I'm no expert in tennis racquets, but I guess I'm wondering what about the air pressure would even effect the shape of the metal/titanium/aluminum part of the racquet frame. I mean, unless that's filled with air, then I don't know how changing the pressure uniformly around the racquet frame is going to expand or contract anything...
