Ok... I sure opened up a can of worms here... wow awesome. I should have covered my basis here.
Yes its syrup, Codine to be exact, its for cough but I'd rather not take it unless I absolutely have to otherwise I get pretty sleepy with it. It is in its original container with the Rx label.
Per the TSA 3-1-1 policy (and yes I am fully aware about all the stuff about how its none of their business blah blah blah) you know what... I agree but at this point that's like fighting with a bull than a cat its just better to go with what the bull wants than trying to treat a bull like a cat (ok whatever, bad analogy, but I hope you understand).
TSA will only allow ONE Quart size bag, umm... ok I know lots of people who carry 7 or more LARGE size pill bottles for Rx and I know they won't all fit in a Qt bag, (yes TSA requires you to place liquids, gels and medications in the QT bag) how the hell dot hey figure you can fit all that in one bag??? I thought their job is to search for explosives & dangerous items? I know the laws have significantly changed since 9/11 but does TSA fall under DHS? If not, then they have no authority to check IDs, Meds, anything of legal concern that is LEO's job (LEO=Local, sheriff, State, FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals, DHS)
If they don't have any authority then why are they doing it? I guess the courts don't care??? Anyway that is moot at this point cuz nothing one person can do right now, I am not trying to be ignorant to cause more problems (wait... but TSA is so ignorant I might have problems anyway)
Actually... I haven't flown in awhile but IIRC I always get selected for enhanced screening, I don't know how this is determined but this seems to be done at the ticket counter, it isn't the airline's job to select people for selective screening either.
