Thanks to the link provided by FriendlySkies, I reviewed the full audio version of the STL detention of Bierfeldt by the TSA. I believe it can be found on the ACLU website. I also reviewed the associated documents and it appears to me that in return for the ACLU dropping the suit, the TSA has officially acquiesced (in late 2009 or early 2010) that all searches done by the clerks must be in line with the specific intention of protecting an airline from a te**oristic threat, and must not include generalized, sweeping law enforcement type type searches that may only be conducted under circumstances of probable cause by a deputized LEO. Please correct me if I have misinterpreted this as I was reading it at approximately 4 AM!
