Totally depends on size and seat. I've had issues with my 17" in FC when the seat in front of me is reclined but I usually travel with my smaller one (Dell D830 vs D430). Never have issues anywhere with the smaller one. Guess it could be an issue for non-elites...I haven't been in a non-exit or FC seat (while using a laptop) in a very long time. Woe is me.
