Have booked a redemption flight through BA (LHR to ORD) flying with AA, lots of miles but great price

The BA manage my booking page is working great and shows seat numbers for all the flights. Unfortunately the allocated seats are right at the back

Reading through the BA site it seems to suggest you can use the AA site to change your seat reservation. Log in on the AA site (I am not a AA Advantage member) seems to be via name and 'Record Locator' I have tried the booking reference number but this does not seem to work.

Any advice greatly appreciated
