I'm in the same position too at 38k miles. I've been trying to put together a mileage run that'll cost $600-700 and two days and deciding if it's worth it or not. I do like the higher priority for boarding and upgrades as a PLT, as well as the 100% mileage bonus. I haven't done any mileage runs before though so I'm torn.
So I just looked at how people are making it work and apparently they're using miles to book award tickets to the promo cities. That way it comes out much cheaper. Still thinking about doin it!
