The PAL lounge is not worth $5 let alone $50. As others have said, it would be a very long wait in the terminal. There is literally nothing to do at the airport, but going to the Mall of Asia might be a waste of time too. Perhaps it is worth the $50 to have a bunch of drinks in that lounge...
