fti is right. "Meaningless" and "no value" are subjective terms. I probably should have stopped at "Academic and only mildly interesting" and not continued with the rest.

It can't be totally meaningless (to me) since I include the number in my FT signature.

I guess my point was that people trying to reconcile their LM balance should really drop the effort and concentrate on the correct total for the other balances. I really don't care if DL has made a mistake with my LMs. After all... they can't be redeemed for anything and do not set me apart from others at the gate. I'll continue to scrutinize my other balances but LMs are, for me at least, only mildly interesting.
