I am truly glad that there is more to it than should be reported here, as no business should get trashed over false claims.
If this is indeed happening, I am certain the hotel's and Hyatt's management would want to know more. An "inside" job may involve a situation not known to the general manager. Based on your account, I cannot infer if you believe the activity rises to the level of the general manager. Such a general manager should indeed be interested that employees are (1) converting the hotel's resources at all and (2) converting those resources for purposes which implicate the property's reputation. Its not like such employees are swiping shampoo samples. The property clearly doesn't need this reported in the local paper. Nor does Hyatt need it either.
