When I log onto my BA bookings it is showing my flights from the UK to the US. These are clubworld reward flights to the states. When I log into my bookings it is stating that I will receive 10k miles and 240 tier points for this booking.

Can someone please confirm if this is a system glitch or if I will still receive these points despite the booking being made using points?

Also, has anyone ever been able to extend their membership year by a month?

I have been flying BA a lot this year (in the UK) but I have not yet made silver status. I am 120 points away and if I was able to push it back a month I would accrue the 240 tier points above and qualify for Silver status.
