Woud it be too risky if I arrived at 11.35pm on AA or should I take the flight that arrives at 8.30pm? I am coming in from ORD.

Take the mainline AA 564 arriving at 8:30pm, more time during that time is safer. Make sure you go to the Flagship Lounge(ORD) by K18 and just use the H/K Admiral's Club for the shower if you really want it.
