I'm at JFK supposed to be on AA Eagle 4333 to Pittsburgh, which has already been delayed 2.5 hours with a maintenance issue. I'm supposed to be in PIT tonight, then fly on AA Eagle tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. back to JFK and connecting to DCA. FWIW, apparently no AA a.m. flight to PIT tomorrow anyway and in any event I'm reluctant to simply fly there tomorrow a.m. just to turn around and fly back to JFK.

Here's the key consideration: 4333 is the last leg of a RT PIT-SFO-PIT ticket that would count for 2x EQM under the promo AA is running. If it is canceled and I can't get to PIT tonight then it makes no sense for me to try to get to PIT tomorrow--except for the purposes of completing this MR.

So here's my question: If AA cancels the flight, is there anything I can do to try to nevertheless get it counted for the purposes of the promo? Or am I SOL re the promo unless I fly out to PIT tomorrow--thus messing up my plans to fly PIT-JFK-DCA tomorrow.
