I'm debating between using a free ticket I obtained from the fly 3/fly free promotion vs purchasing a ticket from ORD - RNO over Martin Luther King weekend. For both options, the times that I can get are identical so that is not an issue. What is an issue, obviously, is the amount of miles I would accrue from purchasing the ticket, which if my math is correct is 7684 (BTW, I'm platinum). Any advice on whether I would be better off using the free ticket or purchasing? The free ticket is good until december 04. Thanks
