While I prefer the 777 to LGW or FRA, for a weekend trip, I would suggest ZRH, even though it's on a 767. Try for row 21 or UPG. There is much more to do, IMHO, in Zurich, easy train ride from the airport to the main station, great art museum, great shopping in a compact ped zone, and a decent in city, category 4, Sheraton. And the lake and river are beautiful. If you have extra time, Lucence is about an hour south, where there is a small but interesting Picasso museum. Much of the town is closed on Sundays, if you are making a long weekend out of it.

Of course, this time of year, I would recommend adding the code share on LX to Nice, and spend a couple days playing craps or blackjack at the casino, working in the Chagall, Matiece and other great art museums there. I have priced it where there is only about $40 difference in fares, adding the NCE flights.
