Not amazing news, but sticking to Amex I have spotted something:
The Amex UK issued and managed ICC (International Charge Card) is open to people living worldwide, it comes in Green, Gold and Plat versions.
(check the plat perks as they differ slighlty from normal UK Plat).
It's available in EUR and USD denominited versions, the EUR version is only(!) €550 a year. I say only because that is €50 less than the NL plat.
It seems to earn 1 MR point per €. And it looks like conversions to BA miles are at the rate of 1:1!
