I do not think I'd go that far. The suite (a full suite, not a junior suite) I stayed in was actually quite nice, with beautiful view of the river. The bathroom was quite spacious, and while the décor was a little dated, it wasn't terribly old looking. I had to pay for the club access (2-4-1 did not offer the option of booking a club room) but it wasn't much anyway(€30), and I felt it was overall a very good value.
