Guys, 160K TD travel points does not equal C$160K in spending - it's actually $53.3K in spending. TD travel points result in 1.5% back in travel dollars. He could have transferred the 160K TD into ~40K AA, but I don't think that was a good move.

Considering he already had 160K TD, his redemption was the only reasonable move.
