Not sure why? Same reason as above. It's because AS, unlike AA, doesn't use the booking information to add the reservation to MyTrips but rather tags it if you book it while logged in.

That said, at least we have a place we can add and store confirmation numbers. Dulta.com doesn't allow me to save my DL.com-booked itineraries even if I am logged into my SkyPesos account when booking them. (For this case, I must say: God bless Firefox auto-fill...)
