I'm pretty sure that only availability on that particular segment is necessary.

My few experiences with this are rather dated. Pre-UDU, a 1K agent had no problem doing this when I talked her through it. Post-UDU, I've done this twice, and I barely had to say anything at all. In fact, these agents just said they "switched it over" or something. This makes me think that toggling between CR1s and UDUs is easier than toggling between CR1s and e-500s was, perhaps easy enough that it may lead to abuse. I don't want switching from confirmed CR1 to confirmed UDU to be possible unless there is NF/NC availability.

I haven't seen much data on this here at all. This may be a useful thread to compile experiences.
