I am going to be arriving at 6:00 AM on Saturday the 30th of October in Mexico City via UAL. I am staying at fiestan americana chapultepec and the hotel quoted 750 pesos for two. Having never been to Mexico City before and the cab stories you hear, I was trying to book a pre-paid taxi on the internet. This has worked in the past in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun but I can't seem to find anything in Mexico City. Is there a better option? I have been scammed before by official looking taxi operators with a clipboard etc. How do we discern between official taxi and impersonators in Mexico City. Appreciate any help.
