Just got done with a 3 day rental of a 2010 Chevy Silverado 4dr pickup with a 5.3L V8 engine.

This is a tall & long vehicle, there were a few very minor scrapes/scratches on the rear bumpers so you could tell some folks driving it were thinking they were in a normal sized auto and cut a corner too tight.

Acceleration was very good from a stop. While moving if you wanted to step on it, the truck had to think for a moment before gaining some speed.

If the pavement was wet (we had some rain) and I was stopped at a light, then starting a turn, the back tires had a bad habit of slipping, not gripping. Starting from a stop & going straight when the pavement was wet, the pickup didn't have this issue.

Nice hauling area in back if needed.

We fit 5 adults very easy and with comfort. All of us do not own pickups but made the same comments about how nice the ride was.
