I subject I could write a lot on. I buy quite a lot of champagne for personal consumption, and have a nice selection in the cellar.

It really depends what you like, but my first suggestion for a general crowd pleaser would be Roederer NV, its usually available for around GBP 25 a bottle all in if you buy 6.
