Does anyone know why Air China doesn't give you the option to add a Star Alliance partner's mileage account number at purchase? I've always been able to do so with Asiana, ANA, United, and Continental.
No idea, but I've never been able to attach my FF# to any Chinese airline reservation at booking, and I've had limited success getting it to stick to a PNR, all my CA credit has come from th eboarding pass on UA. I had MUCh better luck with FM, but they're leaving *A so ... bleh :-/
