Not sure. For people who are permitted to bring in guests, sometimes it's 2 and sometimes it's 1. "Family" refers to spouse and children under 21. Perhaps the emphasis is that once your child is older than 21, he/she is no longer permitted to enter as "family."

Either way, considering that it's ME that's under 21, and not my guest (I'm the one trying to get guested in,) I really hope they don't turn me away! And honestly, I don't even care about the drinking (which is why it's 21). All I want to do, is be able to sit in a quiet area, surf the web, and watch the Giants game!
