Whilst some people on here have made some very valid points with regard to this issue, I think that the whole incident has been slightly over exaggerated. Yes the CC member shouldn't of been using their mobile phone at that time and therefore setting a bad example, however the safety of the passengers was never in question.

Me personally, If I felt that strongly about it, I would simply have a quiet word with the CSD upon departure of the aircraft and leave it at that, rather than make a big song and dance to BA. Afterall, they have enough on their plates at the moment what with these potential srikes still lurking in the background
