A growing number of lawyers and other persons use laptops that have little to no customer data on them, as most/all applications and documents used for work purposes reside on the remotely accessed servers.

If my attorneys operated exclusively in such a way for rather ordinary legal matters, it would probably be an improvement over what many of them do for rather routine tasks.
