Well, in my personal experience, the minuscule content of the plastic box has more flavour than the two triangle shaped sandwiches and scones I am accustomed to on BA, but then, I am a frog .

With respect to the plastic glasses, this is unfortunately true and a reflection of the disastrous service cutbacks that took place in 2004, with no warning at all. Also gone were the Mirabelle, the Poire, the Armagnac. Dreadful.

Still, the Jacquart is IMO better than the Pommery and the selection of wines from the long-haul wine list for medium-haul flights over 2h55 (ATH, IST, MOW) is a nice touch on AF, just as having a warm dish on band 3 BA flights is good. Just trying to focus on the few remaining pleasurable elements of flying medium-haul, rather than on what has been "enhanced".
