From my understanding, it is into whichever lounge that the card holder has access too...

So, if a Gold has access to the Galleries First lounge, then they are able to take a guest on a staff travel ticket into the Galleries First lounge with them. I doubt BA would expect a Gold to downgrade them self to the Galleries Club lounge to complete the task.
