The story continues.....As I checked in the premium check in area at JFk this morning I had the agent who was handling first class check in tell me that I WAS NOT ALLOWED to do stand by on my flight to Jamaica. I had to inform that I call reservations three times last night and that it was possible. She picked up the phone and had to ask if this was so. It seems that I was right.
Again I amazed at how agents do not know their information. Lucky I was able to get on the flight and by the looks if it with only 1 seat to spare. Even though there were over 20 seats available AA decided to downgrade the plane last night from a 757 to a 763 which eliminated quite a few seats in the back.

So I am home now. Yeah
