No annoying person shoving a bottle of water in your face and assuming you don't know how to open the gate or find a parking spot. No waiting by your car in the heat for a pickup that may never come. Plus the secret infield area that very few knew of that made for almost no walking.
West Reduced Rate was great, because you could check in there and check your bag (back when it was free). Of course, this worked only for American.
