Give it up. Useful SWUs are not going to happen. I spent months griping on these boards. Sent several letters to Jeff and got substantive replies saying essentially he thought free drinks in SkyClubs was a reasonable trade off for no Int'l UGs. Bottom line, if you fly a lot of international on DL and your company is not paying for C or overpriced M, you're going to be in back. UA, CO, and AA all provide reasonable Int'l UGs for their best FFs. Seat comfort is absolutely the number one most important thing about flying for elite FFs. At UA a poll of 1Ks (the DM equivalents) showed that UGs on Intl flights was the one thing they like best about UA and the mileage program. Unless you're a hub prisoner, you shouldn't be flying Int'L on DL. They are never going to fix this!!
