If AA had the money then we could have PTVs even on the MD80. AA could also add drop-down screens every few rows to show Airshow and the flight safety video in addition to the PTVs.

What would be the theory of adding PTVs to a domestic fleet for flights under 5.5 hours when you have yet to add them to the international 767 for flights lasting (sometimes) 10+hours? However, it seems to me that they should put PTVs on the 767 fleet to standardize their international service (like Continental).
