LAman.....while I do not have 160 segments on AC (Thank God) you lose all credibility when you say you have generally excellent and sometimes exceptional service. Frankly thats not true, we both know it.
But you are right on one thing. There are far better products out there. Its not just the FA either, its the whole package. The website for Aeroplan hasn't worked for 3 days, the extra charges for basic services are forgotten about, the ground agents simply need to be seen to be believed, the FA is hit and miss and the poor lost luggage guys you find at the destination are possibly the most over-worked people in the industry.
