I've stayed at all the Hyatts in the DC and Virginia area and the Grand Hyatt does have the best location for convenience with respect to sightseeing and attractions in DC. I just returned from a stay at the Hyatt Regency Capital Hill today and its location isn't bad either, it's just not right on the Metro. Park Hyatt is definitely a posher hotel but in my opinion it's a bit too stiff and stuffy. I'm a business traveler and I don't need three people on top of my car when I arrive helping to move one piece of wheeled luggage to my room. It's a very nice service, but not necessary for me. The others in the area are much more down-to-earth.
