Appreciate any ones help on this. I'm in India and need to talk to the Elite desk in the US. AA only has an 800 number which I cannot call from outside the US. Does anybody have a toll number for the Platinum (or AAdvantage) desk that can be accessed from outside the US?

The party line for international travelers who have elite status is to call the local AA reservations desk - however, these folks cannot help me with my problem.
