Me, my wife and daughter have taken ord-nrt several times. The last time was in May. It has always been a good experience. We have always flown in coach. I'm a big guy. 6'4 and 300 lbs, and its been ok for my. A few ideas

1. Bring some extra water with you.
2. You need to do some streaching throughout the flight
3. If you are traveling with others do not site in the seats that the arm rests don't go up (front row of coach). Those seats have more leg room but its been my experience that moving up the armrests and shareing the space w/ a spouse or child is much more comfortable the the extra legroom.
4. The MLTC is fine, always good for me and even my 6'5 320lbs brother who fly once.
5. Bring your own reading materials and gameboy/ipod
6. The IFE loops. I watch a cycle and a movie then sleep for about 6 hours. I then watch another cycle and movie then spend the last 2 hours cleaning up etc..

In my experience you can't count on the FA. They are usually pretty bad in my opinion and only give marginal service. If you know that going in you won't have unreasonable expectations from them. We make this trip twice a year and with a little planning it always goes fine. We also then switch airports and fly to OKA but thats another story.

Have fun enjoy your trip. We are flying Dec 24th but this time in Biz class so were pretty excited!!
