This sort of thing shows up the best and worst of BA.

I undertook a Voluntary Cabin Crew course to 'back BA' ... since I was without car at the time, I used public transport to/from home to the BA training facilities.

Unfortunately the bus was late 2-3 times which delayed my arrival during the course by 10 minutes max on one occasion.

Regardless of this, and the fact that I was taking time out from my regular job to back BA, I was told that I was receiving penalty "points" for being late, and that any more points would result in a "debrief" from the training manager.

Needless to say, it didn't come to that, or I would have raised one hell of a stink.

Very offensive - I recognise the importance of attending (voluntary) training courses promptly, but the delays were minimal and the issue was handled very poorly .... that's the side of BA that unfortunately still exists....I will let it go this time, but I was tempted to make a (voluntary) visit to the training manager to give him/her a debrief of how to treat colleagues with respect and common sense.
