It seems that some crew member are ACTUALLY wanting a strike over Christmas just for the sake of it, which makes me sick. What are you striking over!?

In my opinion as a crew member: both BASSA and BA have failed us. BASSA have not represented us as they withdrew their right to participate in any negotiation (as voted last summer at a race course which is probably why BA refused to re-rosted our so called chairman who has been silent for almost a year to attend a briefend held by Tony Woodley). But, BA have also failed to acknowledge and recognise those of us who have backed them throughout this dispute and we ARE still having to put up with the behaviour of XXXX-crew members (and I doubt that you can ever understand what we have to put up with). They have also now agreed to reinstate staff travel concessions, which never should have happened. Why?

I'm furious. It's a 'good thing' that I have decided to leave BA and will do so at earliest possible moment. I will be missing a lot of it, for example meeting people (who are paying our wages) and making sure that they are receiving the best possible service. I love my job more than anything else, and I wish I could have stayed, but I can't stand the circumstances anymore.

To BA and BASSA: you have really failed.
Oh gosh... I am so sorry to hear that you are going to leave.

It is true what you said. No one will ever fully understand what we have gone through to support BA and it continues to this day.

Your post highlights the failings on both sides, and failings that many, not just in the crew community, will be very unhappy with... i.e. return of any form of staff travel.
