Thanks!

I have seen that, but I am not familiar with BKK as I have not been there since 2004, so I can't see if I might run into the water.
I have booked room at the Millennium Hilton which is right next to the river - on the wrong side from the airport.

I suppose traffic will be chaotic if BKK floods and I am considering to change at least my 2nd night to somewhere closer to the airport because I would hate being caught behind the water. My 2nd night is from 24-25 October which is where the high tide is supposed to come.

Would that make sense or am I being over-concerned?
