Thanks for the welcome. Yea I'm aware of the Platinum benefits but for 570EUR per year and them not seemingly offering Starwood SPG Gold Status and other benefits (at least not to my knowledge) I'm thinking of opting for a cheaper AMEX option.

I know there are some banks offering Amex cards too such as BNP Paribas but there offer just seems pretty standard (same as on americanexpress.be as far as I'm aware), and they don't offer anything beyond the Gold card it seems: http://www.americanexpress.be/fortis...s_kaarten.html

And there's Miles & More..
