Hi guys

Some advice would be appreciated. I'm shortly to do LHR-NRT-SYD-SIN-LHR. First sector is on BA. The other three are on QF.

My luggage allowance on BA is 2X23kg, increased to 32kg each as I am Silver. On QF it is 23kg. I spke to QF telesales who said that as BA is the first sector, their allowance would be accepted on QF, provided BA update the booking (Booking was made on QF website). However BA customer services have told me that they cannot force QF to accept the BA allowance.

No I do not want to be stuck in, say SIN, with a bill of £1000's to get excess luggage back, so will stick to the 23kg. Has anyone else had any experience with mixed itineraries and mixed luggage allownaces?
