Thanks again for the detailed work! I am sadly all too familiar with the flights you posted, because I have checked (and now rechecked!) ALL options open. He can't make the 03H00 departure from Kigali because he's actually working across the border in the DRC ... and his organisation has strict rules on times of day he may travel and how for his own safety.

I was incredibly lucky and contacted AF when their call centre opened this morning with only a 5 mins hold .... and a really helpful lady called Isabelle managed to get all the flights on one ticket AND is sending a dossier to him by email as it is being held for several days without penalty on the system. I am very much happier and am now looking forward to seeing him.
