I am not sure if this is appropriate in this forum (or on FT at all). I have tried searching through FT but seen no thread / mention of this.

Anyway, planning some travel next year (3 weeks or so, late March / early April) with my wife. Bali will be part of the trip, but also looking to explore a couple of other places. (Singapore? Hong Kong? Sydney? Seoul? Tokyo? China?)

I am reading through trip reports here, and seeing many many places that we would love to go! I want to visit all (almost all) of the hotels on this thread! We are looking for great flights, and exceptional hotels and experiences in the places we visit.

On many of the trip reports, I see mention of Virtuoso. Can somebody on this forum recommend a Virtuoso agent (preferably SF Bay Area)?

Or, in looking through the various Aman properties, I see bookable packages (6 Days in Bali for example). I am almost certain a few days at an Aman (most of the ones in Asia are options) will be a part of the trip. From some posts, it looks like a Virtuoso agent will be able to get me a better package (room upgrade, etc.) than I might be able to get on my unknowing own.

Also - for help coordinating flights / schedules (probably mostly C, use SWU to F on UA if and when possible), and the pro's and con's of some of the other destinations we are considering. Do agents help with things like SWU's or mileage upgrades / award travel?

This is our first trip like this, so I want to maximize the return on our time and $$ and I am thinking an expert agent could help on both fronts.

Please let me know your thoughts.
