My hope would be for enclosed walkway outside the existing frame of the terminal structure -- much like the walkway that goes from the US Airways Shuttle gates to the main US Airways part of Terminal B. (Confused about what I mean? Imagine going through the US Airways Shuttle security at Logan, then turning hard hard right. There's a walkway to some bathrooms and ultimately to the Au Bon Pain etc., the US Airways Club, and the other US gates.

I'm sure this US walkway was built during the major expansion of the part of Terminal B that the US Shuttle now uses. Easy to justify this walkway for so many gates and for a large capital expenditure. Harder to justify such a walkway for the smaller & fewer AA "Siberia" gates at issue here. Yet the fact that there are fewer of these gates actually means they need the walkway more not less: The US Shuttle gates are numerous enough to support a coffeeshop with pastries, two sets of restrooms, plenty of desks with telephone jacks, etc. Not so on the AA "Siberia" gates.
