Yes it will. They'll tell you to walk to Gate 44 in T-4, go downstairs on the escalator, wait for the shuttle bus where you'll be taken to the satellite terminal. It's actually nice, although the only place to eat offers very little for way too much.
I just did LAX-LAS-SJC Tuesday (where I saw Air Force One, actually). I really like it when AA offers discounts on routes to SJC via LAS so I can fly mainline. Super 80s are my favorite jet aircraft for short-medium haul.
