Okay, I have read through all the posts and with the hope that someone doesn’t take offense, I will post hoping that I am not being too repetitive or insulting but I am just trying to clarify.

Day 2 clue states “found near a glacier”. In response to an earlier post, since Lake Titicaca is “fed by a glacier”, it would appear logical that it is “near a glacier”.

Day 1 clue states: “borders more than one country”. We know that Peru and Bolivia both border more than one other country. If you are on Lake Titicaca, you may see the borders of both Peru and Bolivia so the lake itself does border more than one country. Additionally, we know that Puno, Copacabana, as well as the Titicaca National Reserve DO NOT border more than one country as they are inland.

I’m sorry I do not know how to insert the websites that I had used but perhaps someone else can review these two locations and insert them for anyone interested. The first one that I like is a map of the world. This I found on Google by entering “Map of South America” in this case. I understand this may be elementary to most of you but this particular map is shown with a blue background for the oceans, with the continents, etc. being in black and white. In my opinion, this is the best map to view and I have this saved in My Favorites as Map of the World and use it for searching any location. With this particular map, you can continue to zoom in as often as you want and pan right, left, up, and down until you get in so close that you can actually see where the Titicaca National Reserve is. It is NOT on the border of Bolivia nor any other country in this map, but is found within Peru.

Also, if you go in on Google and enter “Arbaline’s 8th Gate 2 Gallery”, it will pull up a picture (2nd one) of The Hotel Libertador on Esteves Island, taken from Puno, Peru. Esteves Island is connected to the mainland of Peru by a causeway road. So, is Esteves Island considered separate from Puno? In that picture on the top and left of the Island are the Floating Islands. Are these all considered as part of Peru or separate so that they could be considered as “bordering” both Peru and Bolivia. All of these are within the Peru boundaries. If so, they could be looking for and island to be included in the answer.

I think it is safe to say that Lake Titicaca in and of itself borders two countries as it borders both Peru and Bolivia and it is also near a glacier. As mentioned above, neither Puno, Copacabana, nor Titicaca National Reserve border more than one country. Given the two clues so far, since the picture is taken looking AT Hotel Libertador, my inclination is to add Esteves Island to my yesterday’s answer of Lake Titicaca, Peru, South America as now that I have answered with what I truly believe, it won’t hurt to add more to my answer. And, yes, I have included the continent in all my answers that have won. Even though it may be listed on Day 4 of the clues, it has not hurt to include it in the answer in my case.
