La Costa Hotel and Spa is almost as close to Legoland as Park Hyatt Aviara. I'm local, so I've no need to stay in a hotel - but I do use the spa at La Costa, and it is lovely. The spa has extensive outside as well as inside facilities. I'd be curious as to others' current impressions of La Costa.
