I have heard so much about Soweto over the last two or three decades that I would like to see it when I am in Africa.


Is visiting Soweto

(1) very dangerous (ie would a Johannesburg local consider me loony for attempting this); and

(2) are there any tours to Soweto?


I will be staying at the Westcliff hotel in Johannesburg.
