Sydney to Honolulu flights are very full and I expect them to fill up even more with the current fantastic exchange rate.

I have now experienced twice an oversold *Class cabin on the SYD-HNL flight in the past few months. They called me on my mobile as I sat in the lounge trying to get me down to Economy for a $50 credit. I politely declined..

Was not looking forward to boarding the plane, I was waiting for my name to be called and/or my seat to already be taken.

I was down well before boarding in both cases and one of the first on the plane, *Class was 100% full, (except for the crew rest seats) so I wonder who got bumped to Economy!

So basically I don't like your chances of getting a discounted upgrade to *Class, Hawaii is VERY popular at the moment.

Speaking of which, waiting for another *Class sale for another trip
